You play pickleball. You run the trail. You're in the pool, on the court, chasing your kids around a field on Saturday. You don't need another workout — you need the strength underneath all of it. That's what we build here.

Most women who walk into BFT Tysons aren't starting from zero. They're already moving (leagues, races, laps, long walks.) What's been missing isn't effort. It's progressive strength work that helps with everything else.
After 35, strength and bone density begin to diminish. Cardio keeps you fit. But lifting, done properly, progressed over time, coached by someone watching your form, is what keeps your knees, hips and back doing what you ask of them at 45, 55 and beyond. Strength training is the key to staying active now, and longeviety.
Great for cardio. But doesn't move the needle and is very easy to skip when the week gets full.
High intensity, high impact, week after week. Fun for a while, rough on knees and feet, and you plateau quickly.
Everything you need but no idea what to do with it, and no one to do it with.
It works until the schedule or the invoice stops you. And you're training alone the whole time.
Every session is coached. Accredited trainers who know what you're working toward and what you're working around.
Science-backed progressive programming written by strength and conditioning specialists, and built in structured blocks.
BFT³ heart rate technology maps your personal training zones not for competition, but so coaches have data to help fine tune your workouts.
Rotational power, lateral strength and single-leg stability. You'll get to more balls, hit harder, and your knees and shoulders will hold up through long sessions.
Stronger hips, glutes and posterior chain. The strength work runners skip is the reason most of them end up sidelined with injuries. Better economy, fewer breakdowns.
Pulling strength, a stable trunk and shoulders that can take the volume. Dry land work is what makes the laps go by easily.
Hiking, skiing, golf, chasing kids, carrying everything into the house in one trip. Remember what that feels like?
Folks in their late 30s, 40s and 50s who work, who have kids, and who came in unsure, just like you.
We cheear on just showing up. We cheer on success. We build each other up.
Nobody's performing. There are no egos to get past. This is a room of people who noticed you weren't there Tuesday and said so on Thursday.
That turns "I should work out" into something you actually keep doing.
"BFT has been and continues to be an amazing community of friends who push me in the best way. One of my favorite parts is walking into class and seeing the friends I've made — spending 50 minutes in the morning training, laughing, and pushing each other makes waking up early totally worth it."
"From CrossFit gyms to home gyms to personal trainers to online trainers and big box gyms — I've tried everything. Only BFT Tysons was able to get me into the best shape of my life. The coaches are amazing. They understand nutrition, proper form, technique, and mindset to deliver actual results. Lastly, the community is second to none."
Neither had most of the room. Every movement has a scaled version, your coach sets your loads on day one, and your heart rate zones are yours — not the person's next to you. You will not be the most out-of-shape person here, and nobody is keeping score.
Classes run seven days a week, early morning through evening, and they're 50 minutes start to finish. There are no required days. You book what works that week and skip what doesn't — the programming still moves forward when you come back.
There's no pitch on day one. You train, you meet your coach, you see how it feels. We only talk about membership after you've decided you want more — and if you don't, that's a completely fine outcome.
Our programming is strength-led, not cardio-hammering. Load is progressed deliberately, impact is programmed in sensibly rather than by default, and a coach is watching your mechanics every single session.
Three coached sessions to see whether this is the thing that finally sticks. No membership, no commitment, no pressure.
Offer terms: $33 for three coached group training classes. All three classes must be used within 7 days of your first booked session. New local members only, one per person. No membership or ongoing commitment required.
